SYD1’s location less than 1 kilometre from the centre of the Sydney CBD, in close proximity to telecommunications exchanges, submarine cable points of presence and Sydney’s financial and commercial districts, establishing its position as one of the most highly connected, carrier neutral Co-location Data Centres in Sydney. The Sydney metropolitan market has significant barriers to entry due to land scarcity and limited power availability. SYD1 has an Installed IT capacity of 26MW and Planned IT capacity of 88MW.
